I'll send you for a little while a SOUL of mine God said ,
for you to love the while she's there and mourn for when she's dead.
She's been given special qualities and Love to share abound,
and whosoever she shall meet will feel it all around,
She will listen to your stories and take on all your pain,
She will guide you on the right path without a thought of gain,
her kindness will be felt by all that meet her on her road,
she will spread a lot of happiness and joy among the crowd.

The deed that she lived by every single day, was to make
a difference to someone's life in just a little way.
It may be with a healing and sometimes with a cure,
or just a kind word was enough to see them clear,
She always saw the good in people that she met,
never saw the bad side that was never kept.
Her special words of wisdom and sypathetic ear,
made her a favourite for everyone to near.

Angels don't come often and walk amongst us here,
now i face this world alone it fills me full of fear.
It was the twenty sixth of February in twenty ten,
my life was changed, never to be the same again, all for the good,
i hasten to say, for we never spent no time apart not even for a day.
Our love for each other IS total and complete and will go on forever even when we sleep.
I can't dwell on my own grief, sadness, and negative thought,
for that would be forgetting everthing she had taught.
So i look towards the future to continue on her tasks,
and hope i'm really worthy of doing what she asked.

We hand this SOUL back now for Him to keep it safe,
and say thanks, as she made it here a much better place.

Rest in eternal peace Sue. You will be sadly missed.

Dear Nan,

I hope this letter finds you in the warm embrace of heaven. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the love, guidance, and memories you have given me throughout my life. You were not only my Nan but also my teacher and mentor.

I will forever cherish the moments we spent together, with you patiently teaching me how to sew.

The Christmases we shared, putting up the tree, sharing gifts, cooking and baking together.

Visiting you in France holds the most amazing memories. Having fun in the pool, playing with the chickens, admiring the craftsmanship of your beautiful garden. I will never forget the adventures we went on.

But beyond the memories we shared, it was your kindness, patience, and unwavering love that made you truly extraordinary. You had a way of making everyone feel special and loved, and your warm smile could brighten even the gloomiest of days.

Though you may no longer be physically with us, your spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear. Your legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of my life.

Thank you, Nan, for everything you have done for me. I miss you dearly, but I find comfort in knowing that you are watching over me. Until we meet again, may your soul rest in eternal peace.

To me you wasn't a mother-in-law but more of a friend. The holidays and trips we shared will always remain as happy memories. You can rest easy knowing that i will be here for Linda and we will celebrate your life in the new year with the rest of your family and friends. Aggressive whispers, a tumor's cruel song,
Two weeks, a battle, too short and too long.
